Do you ever take your temp in the day?

Ok, so I know that it's not your BBT when you check your temp in the day, BUT I was wondering if anyone knows if your daytime temps can tell you anything? i/e if you're pg or not. I'm 9DPO and my BBT ranges from 97.4-97.9 post O temps & I just took my temp for the hell of it, as I often do...he he he, and it was 98.7! I'm NOT sick! That's high for me, as my usual core temp is a fair bit lower than "normal" 96.8. Hmmmm... trying not to read into it too much.

I did that a few times back when I was "hardcore" charting...and EVERY time it would get high, I would think I was pregnant, and then be very let down. So I dont know, it could be a good sign or not! GOOD LUCK though!

Well, I'm the worst obsesser in the world, so I say there's NOTHING wrong with getting your hopes up! You never know!

I do it all the time, but I try and only temp when I have been inactive for a while..like I usually lay there and watch tv in bed for an hour or two every night, so I temp right before I turn out the lights and sleep...etc. I can usually see a pattern in those late temps, but not as obvious as my BBT.
