I'm getting ready to go visit my mom/stepdad/sister/adopted brother for the day, on the other side of the state. My mom's birthday is on Wednesday, and I got her the most awesome gift!

I went to visit my aunt a few weeks ago, and she has a GIANT chest of old photos, some going back to when my grandmother was a child. So I got up early the morning after I got there and went through EVERY picture in the chest. I found some grainy 3 x 5s of my mom and stepdad's wedding and reception--it was very small and very cheap, as they were both in school and had me and my sister to take care of.

I blew them up bigger, and turned them into black and white photos, and got a long 3-picture frame(black and white) to put them in. I hope she likes it! They don't have any framed pictures of their wedding day.

I can't go next weekend to see her--my grandmother on my dad's side's bday is the same day as my mom's, and she's turning 90, so DH and I are going to Indiana to see her next weekend! Lots of traveling!

I just hope we get in some good BDing here before we go!
