hi everyone, need some advice from the experts.

i just started temping this cycle. everyday at 9am. (started about 10 days ago). i will be traveling all this coming wknd and flying to a different time zone.
anyone have any idea on how i can still take my temp? anyone know if i can bring a basal body thermometer carried on an airplane??

im leaving saturday morning, but that morning i have to wake up at 6am, ill be traveling all morning and then fly around 2:30pm local time. i arrive at my destination at 11am same day i started. (im coming from the future back to the past).
sunday, ill probably have to wake up by 7 or 8am
monday, wake up by 6-7am and fly at 11am, arrive at my origin at 3pm tuesday.

any suggestions????
:-)

Okay...let me see if I can explain this right. I'm just going to use some numbers as examples.

If you live in Virgina(east coast) and normally take your temp at 9 am, and you are going to California(west coast), you would want to take your temp at 6 am california time. You want to keep your time as close to normal as it was. Traveling will affect your temps and can delay O, so just be prepared. Esp. when it sounds like you are doing transoceanic travel.....I know when last time I went from the states to Europe it delayed my O by 6 days.......So just be ready for that to happen.

thanks jennifer. i actually would prefer if i O'd later since my husband may not be able to come with me

yes the problem is, with my temp taking and trying to take it the same time as where i am is that i will be traveling from japan which is 14hrs ahead of chgo.
if i continued taking it at 9am starting saturday (the day i travel) i'll have been up and moving around for about 3hrs. so then i guess i take it again on saturday night (when i arrive in chgo) at 7pm same day of travel (which would be japan's 9am sunday)? but i will also be up and have moved around by then..
oy.

Whew! So you haven't Od yet? Gosh, that's a tough one. Do you use FF? There's a tutorial on there about temping while traveling and going through different time zones.

Good luck, and I hope you have a good trip!
