Good morning ladies.....

Some of you may remember me......I started charting in January and after a LONG 138 day cycle (and a round of Clomid) I got my BFP!!!!!

Unfortunately, at the 12 1/2 week NT Scan, DH and I discovered that I was carrying non viable conjoined twins There was nothing that could be done for them.....the doctors wanted to do a D&C that day....I refused...I wanted to get several OTHER opinions and also find another alternative rather than D&C.....

So I spoke to several doctors and they all said the same thing-"non viable conjoined twins, no chance for survival"-

One doctor finally told me that if I would carry the babies to 16 weeks then they would induce labor and let me have my babies that way.....so that's what we did.....

August 3, 2007 I gave birth to Asher and Noah......they were conjoined from the chest up-sharing one heart and one fetal head.....they were born sleeping....

I am still struggling with their loss.....I wanted them so badly, and my pregnancy had been so uneventful and I was so SURE everything was going to be fine.....the thought of how it ended still tears me up inside....but DH and I are doing are best to move forward...remembering our miracles with tattoos in their honor and NOW trying to make them "big brothers"

So I just started charting again.....I've been on Provera for 4 days now (6 more days to go) hopefully AF will come soon and then I will take Clomid cds 3-7.....

My question is.....does provera make your BBT higher....because my temp today was 97.92.....and I looked back at my last chart, and my temp wasn't that high until after O.....

But I don't think I slept very well last night....so maybe that has something to do with it too???

Anyhow, I will be around more now...asking people to analyze my chart and stuff....soooooo good luck to all of you and I hope we ALL find a DDC soon

I'm so sorry for your loss hon. I really hope you get your BFP soon and it results and in normal happy healthy pregnancy.

I'm not sure about the Provera, but I'll ask here at work. Good luck!!!

OK, so now I'm even MORE confused....

I decided to take an OPK and it came up POSITIVE!!!!! I don't know what to do now......I am on Provera right now, and I don't want to stop just in case the OPK is faulty....but I also don't want to conceive while taking it and hurt my baby.....kwim?

Does anyone have any experience with this??? I already called my doctor but they haven't called me back.....here's a pic of the OPK....

Brandi-I am sooo sorry for your loss. I hope your stay here is short.

Provera can do some funky things to your temps and to OPK's. One of my friends also noticed a huge temp spike and got a positive OPK 3 days in to her provera dose. She was told to just continue taking the provera because it was best to start with a fresh cycle. Good luck!
