Okay, so I'm falling behind on my FF courses due to getting ready to move and I haven't had time to finish reading my TCOYF book. So I'm wondering what some things mean and what causes some things.

1. What is with the open circles or different circles on FF? (like the first one on my chart)
2. What would cause a big temp dip like the one I had this morning?

I've only been charting for a week now and I'm only 5 days post-IUD so I don't expect anyone to interpret my chart. Just wondering some typical causes and possible meanings for these type of things. Thanks!

progesterone elevates your body temperature. Since you just had your iud removed, the progesterone is probably leaving your system, thereby causing the large drop in temperature. After you ovulate, your natural progesterone will be triggered and your temps will again rise. Then when af arrives, another big drop as the estrogen surges and progesterone levels dip.

Open circles mean you took your temp at a different time than "normal". YOu want to take your temp at the same time every day to get the best possible view of your chart and all solid cicrles

I think the girls answered your questions--but I just wanted to say GOOD LUCK for when you start TTCing, and if you need anything, please don't hesitate to ask!

Thanks ladies! I had another BIG drop in temp today. Guess that progesterone is still trying to make its way out!
