It seems like my cervix is always high in the morning, but then if I check it at night is much lower. Is this normal? What time of day should I check it?

I think I still don't know what I'm doing because it feels high, soft, open to me for days on end.

I think, and I could be wrong, that you're only supposed to check it once a day, and you should do it in the morning. Gals, correct me if I'm wrong here.

Of course, that being said, I was obsessive and would check mine ALL the time.

When it's "firm", it will feel like the end of your nose.

sorry but lurking over here...i do believe you are only suppose to check it once a day and be consistent on checking it the same time each day. They said that cervical position can change throughout the day.

I use to check my CP in the morning and it was always high too! Your CP fluctuates all throughout the day depending on your activity, sleeping, sitting, walking, etc... I now check my CP every evening before I go to bed and it seems to have been much better doing it that way. I definitely recommend checking it at the same time everyday and not first thing in the morning. hth

I think you are supposed to check it once a day. I don't know that it matters what time you check it just that you are consistent with the time. I tend to check mine a few times a day since I am crazy. I think it is so neat watching my cervix gradually move up.
