Has anyone just suddenly ovulated? I think that is what's happening to me. I've never before just suddenly ovulated, I always have my CM change gradually and my cervix get higher. I checked yesterday and my cervix was low and I had maybe, creamy CM. Today, I got wet CM and my cervix is definitely very high and soft. I checked a few times, to be sure, but there is no mistaking it. I'm so fustrated because this is now the 2nd cycle I've been charting that my ovulation is different than it usually is. That was the whole point in me charting, I feel like giving up!

For me... I chart to make sure I O and to try and get a better idea of just when it happens each month.

I almost always have signs of O around CD10-13 and then I have signs again and then finally O around CD 15.

So what you are experiencing sounds normal to me Have you tried OPK's? At least that way you have some warning. (12-72hrs)

BDing every other day if possible is also a great way to try cover all your days.

Good luck hun If you just started charting.... give it time it does get easier and you eventually will see more of a pattern.

Are you checking your cervix at the same time every day?

I know this charting can be soo confusing at times. I'm still trying to figure out CP..

Are you checking your cervix from the same position every time? Activities you do can cause temporary shifts in your cervix also, so make sure you aren't necessarily checking after taking a long nap and things.

Are your cycles normally regular? That could explain the differences in I days too.

Ok, phew! I checked this morning and my temp is still in a normal range and my cervix is low again. It didn't occur to me until after I posted that first, I didn't check until last night, which I usually check in the morning, but I was in a rush in the shower yesterday morning. Second, I had just gotten home from working out, so that must have had an effect on it. Hopefully this cycle is normal, at least normal for me. Usually, I'm between 32-36 days, I'm not sure of my luteal phase yet (first cycle I charted I got pregnant and I'm iffy of my ovulation my 2nd cycle) Last month was hard because the day I missed my temp, was the day I had my cat put to sleep. The days before it, I was so wrapped up in taking care of her and worried about her, I just completely missed all of my ovulation signs. I'm charting so we can use condoms when I am fertile to prevent pregnancy after DH gets back. It wouldn't hurt to use them all the time if I was unsure, but that's just not any fun
