So this morning I woke up at 6:30am. Since I usually temp at 7, I decided to take my temp. I was horribly disappointed that it read 97.02.

Then I quickly realized that I was sleeping with my mouth hanging wide open.

So, I went back to sleep until 7:30 and took my temp again. I made sure to sleep with my mouth shut. At 7:30, my temp was 97.46.

I hate to admit it, but I put the higer temp into ff because I didn't want to lose my CH. I know, I'm not fooling anyone, but that's just what I did.

Anyway, what do you girls think about this? Do you think that my temp really should lay between those two numbers? How much does sleeping with your mouth open affect your temps?

Sleeping with your mouth open definitely affects your temp, but I'm not sure what to tell you to do.

I started temping vaginally to help with that problem. If you're going to switch, you have to make sure to do it at the beginning of a new cycle, not mid cycle.

Good luck to you hon!

Thanks! I'm just happy to see my temp up again today! I made sure I was sleeping with my mouth shut, too.

Usually, FF will keep your crosshairs even if you dip below the coverline. I think I did that last month and they kept my crosshairs.

I guess you're right on that. It happened to me last month. I have such a scrwey cycle and my post O temps seem pretty low. So I fear that any temp drop will make my CH go away. (I know I'm only fooling myself... my body is doing what my body is doing and it won't change if I enter FF data differently.)

But, it's been a couple days and my temps are still staying above the coverline... let's hope they stay up.
