Hi everyone,

I'm a newbie here who just started a chart at Fertility Friend this cycle and am confused as to when I O'd. I thought it was on day 14, but FF is saying it was day 13 - which doesn't make sense to me. Am I missing something? Here's a link to my chart:

Thanks for any help!

Welcome!!!! I'm Tiffany! Feel free to just jump right in! I agree with FF, reason is CD13 was your last day of EWCM and you had a rise in temps the three days following, that was on or above your coverline.

I agree with FF as well--if you had EWCM on CD 14 as well, then I bet it would change your crosshairs. GOOD LUCK!

Thank you Tiffany and Sarah for your help. What if I didn't chart the EWCM and you were just looking at my temps? Would you still think I O'd on day 13 or day 14? When I just look at the temps it looks to me like I O'd on day 14.

I'm sorry, ladies. I guess I'm just not getting it. I've been following FAM (or at least I thought I was) which places the coverline at one-tenth degree above the previous six days. Since both days 11 and 14 are at 97.9, I thought the coverline should have been at 98 degrees with day 14 being the day I O'd. I guess I don't understand why FF is saying day 13 based on the numbers.

FF doesn't use the FAM. Try changing your settings to FAM and see what happens. I think you may have o'd on day 14 or 13. I think you may be right about day 14 based on your opk and the fact that your temp went up significantly on the 15th. Did you have any cm on day 14? You have to keep in mind that FF is a computer program. I know this cycle I had TCOYF mark my o date off and I generally like their software. It's still a computer program. Try changing your cm for day 14 and see if FF changes your o date.

Based on temps, I'd say cd14. The cm points to cd13 though. Some women do experience cm dry-up on the day of o. Based on a cumulation of all the info, I'd say cd14.

OK, I took your advice Patty and changed the CM for day 14, but it's still saying I O'd on day 13. I'm trying not to get excited, but this may be a mute point. My temp this AM (day 19) just did a major jump. My normal luteal phase temps are NEVER this high (98.7) so I'm hoping I'm pregnant. Time will tell!

My chart just had a big jump today too! I am trying to contain myself because I keep thinking its a fluke. What I am finding interesting is that my chart looks similar to last month when I was so convinced I didn't o and some of the temps on last month I thought were off because of my sleeping but yet they look similar to this month's chart.

Good luck to you!! I hope you get your bfp!!
