Hi girls, could you look at my chart and tell me if you think it could possibly be anovulatory?

My story...

Feb 2007 - Stopped BCP
Normal Period March & April (DH deployed overseas through June)
No period for May, June, July or August
Dr. prescribed Provera to induce period which I took for 10 days, then 5 days folloiwng I got my period on 9/10
I'm now CD35 and still no AF

Had very very watery CM on 9/12 - 9/14 plus O pains so I thought I O'd that weekend.
This is my first cycle charting.

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Honestly, I think FF has mismarked your o date. Your luteal phase should not last this long unless you are pregnant. I think your cycle may be abnormal because you are coming off of birth control. I don't think you have ovulated yet. You may have a weird cycle this month and could ovulate really late in your cycle. Did you have irregular cycles before you went on the pill? Or were you pretty regular?

What you should be seeing when you ovulate is a sustained temp shift. Your temps went up but then right back down. I think your body may have tried to o on that day but didn't. I would keep checking your cm and charting and if AF doesn't arrive soon I'd call your doctor.

I don't think you O'ed yet.

We commented to each other in another thread about being off bcp and having really whacky cycles. If you look at my chart, I didn't O until cd 30-something. I'm still questioning if I even Oed.

Your chart looks similar and your temps are all over the place. I'm surprised that ff even gave you CH.

I'd just keep taking the temps and see if any pattern finally develops.

BTW, I can't remember if you mentioned it or not... did you take a hpt and get a bfn?

Good luck with the cycle.

Thanks ladies. That is what I was thinking but I wanted some confirmation. I wasn't sure if I should take my OPK's or not. I have 20 IC's to use for my next cycle so I haven't been thinking I was going to ovulate until...well, until after this discussion. So should I start using my OPK's daily?

And more importantly, if I ovulate soooo late into my cycle... is it possible to get pregnant off of THAT ovulation??

As for my cycles, I can't remember how regular they were because I have been on BCP since I was 18 (I'm 35 now) with the exception of being off for 3yr and 4yrs in between serious relationships during that time. But when I was off BCP for the 3 years before I met DH, I was pretty regular - meaning I had a period every month with the exception of the occasional month missed which I attributed to work stress. But I was pretty regular with 30-32 day cycles.

and yes, if you look on my chart, I took a HPT on CD32 which was clearly Negative.

I plan to call my doctor on Monday as she is aware I may have problems Ovulating and is thinking of putting me on clomid if I'm not PG or having cycles.

I just took an OPK at 5:30pm (hadn't had much to drink and held it) and it was negative. I guess I'll just start tracking opks 2x a day and see what the progression looks like - which I will post eventually.

I think you can still get pg. even if you O late in the cycle.

I've done searches in ff for late ovulation and positive hpt. I found charts where women O late and still get pg.

Even if you O late, as long as your luteal phase following that O is ok in length, you can get pregnant.

Good luck hon!

I agree with the other ladies And it is definately possible to O late in the cycle! Just less common as alot of women give up "trying" by that point. Good Luck
