Another bfn this morning. I got bfp with both my boys at 12dpo, so this, in and of itself, is a real downer. My temp also went down, but I don't know whether to actually believe that or not. My 2-year-old was up all night with stomach flu. We dozed off and on between bouts of throwing up (around 20 minute naps). Then, around 5:30, we fell asleep and sleep (fitfully-we were on the couch) til 7am, when dh gets home from work. I tell him all about being up with Ethan, blah blah blah. Consider not temping at all, but I'm in the final countdown and am really hoping that my temp will be high, so I temp. It's not high. It's back down.

Do I put any stock in it at all?

-only 1.5 hours of fitful sleep
-talking and small movements for 10 minutes or so before temp taking
-temped at normal time.

What do you think? Can I safely ignore this temp, and hope that maybe I'm pregnant regardless of the lower temp and bfn?

I know I'm grasping at straws here.

I would personally just toss the temp., it's almost like me temping right now after being at work for hours and deciding to temp. Keep your head up, it's not over until AF shows her nasty head, right?!?! Good luck!

Oh, and I hope Ethan gets better soon!

Jess, not sure that temp is very invalid. There was no sleep, let alone the ups and down with the baby! I wouldnt count on it...

I am really wishing you the best and a BFP this this very cycle Jess!

Edited to correct valid to invalid, I meant INVALID

I agree, I say toss it. If it were a huge dip, it might have some merit, but being that it is so small, really any of the events from last night/this morning could have caused it.

If I take my first temp, then get up and pee, don't talk, and lay right back down, it's off by at least .20 degrees. Crazy how it changes!
