Question about Conceiving

I have a question for anyone who could help me figure this out. I'm currently pregnant with my second child. DH and I BDed on September 3, I had AF around the 27th (not sure when, AF has been really erratic and I'm not sure when I last saw her), the we BDed on October 9th. I took 3 pregnancy tests on October 12th and got 3 BFPs. When did we conceive our baby?? I'm trying to figure out for my ticker and really to see how far along I am and I just can't figure it out. I wasn't charting at the time, so I know that really makes it difficult. DH thinks we conceived on October 9th, but I don't think we could have because I wouldn't get a BFP that quickly. What do you think??

2 questions.

Did you only bd those 2 times? Sep 3rd & Oct. 9th?

Was your af on 9-27 or 8-27?

Which month did you have AF?

I had AF on August 16th! I know that for sure. Then in September I was waiting for it to show up on the 16th, but it never did. It showed up around the 27th, (I think it really came on the 26th). And those are the only two times we baby danced. We've both been so busy that we really haven't had time to baby dance.

ETA: I wish I could give you more information. I do know that we baby danced in between my August AF and my September AF. My September AF was too heavy to be implantation, as I remember.

Hmm.....lets see. When you BDed on Sept 3rd, you were on CD 7. I would completely rule out the BD on October 9th as conception. No way you could get a BFP at 3dpo. Buuut, given your cycles, it's kind of weird that you would have conceived so early in your cycle in September. I would assume that those sperm lived for a few days. lLt's just say that you ovulated and conceived on September 6th or 7th. (sperm being 3 or 4 days old in fertile CM). That would put you at 35 DPO when you got your BFP. I can't remember, was it a blaring +? If so, I might say that you conceived form you BD date on Sept 3rd and you just ovulated early.

Ahhh crap, I just re-read. I forgot that you had an AF in September. Hmm.....

Have you gotten a blood test or taken a pregnancy test since your BFP on the 12th?

When I got my BFP it wasn't blaring, but it wasn't mistakable. I went to the doctor last Thursday because I pulled my neck and they gave me a pregnancy test and their's came up positive. As the nurse said "You're definitely pregnant." But I was wrong about when I took my first HPTs....I got my BFP on the 19th....sorry!

I know that my CM was very EW on October 7th....I wasn't charting at that point...so I'm not sure what CD that was, I actually found out I was pregnant by accident, because I was waiting for AF to start so I could start charting because we were going to start TTC and then all of a sudden...I got a BFP. So...maybe it was the 9th.

It's physiologically impossible to get a BFP 3 days after conception - so I really think that fact alone rules out October 9th. Looks like you're left with September 3rd, and the period you had must have just been some weird pregnancy bleeding (which LOTS of women get).
