I posted a few days ago about how I might be have a slightly variable luteal phase. As of right now, I am STILL spotting! I have no clue what is going on, I've never had this happen before. I know I ovulated, and FF says I ovulated, so that's not a question. I can't be pregnant, so it's not implantation spotting. I have had completely normal periods since I got mine back in May, and they range from 32-36 or 37 days. If this is going to be my period, how on earth do I start over with a new chart? I have no idea what would be considered the start of my period, since I haven't had any heavy or red bleeding. I haven't taken my temp in the past 2 days either, because my thermometer mysteriously disappeared. I figured I would start a full-fledged period yesterday anyway, so I would just skip my period temps and start back up early next week. We're moving and travelling Thursday and Friday, so there's a good chance my temps would have been thrown off by that. So what do you think, how do I record the end of this cycle and beginning of the next?

Chart this as premenstrual spotting and don't start CD1 until the flow is heavy enough that you require more than just a pantyliner. Just start temping whenever you feel like it.

It's actually slowing down today. Is it possible that I won't even get a heavy flow this period? Like I said, this is really odd for me, I've never had such a light period, or just spotting as a period. I only spot for a maximum for 24 hours before my period, then my flow gets very heavy.

Not if this is true menstruation, which it should be because both your temps and mucus show clear ovulation. It's within the right time frame for implantation bleeding though...was there any BDing from CD16-25? Conception would be possible if you BD'd on any of those days.

Her husband is away with work....so I don't think they BDd.

Hope you get it figured out soon--maybe your body is just going through a weird cycle? I had an extremely light period, almost like yours right before I got pregnant.

Good luck!
