Just curious, which is the hormone that kicks in after ovulation that causes your temp to rise up? is it the progestorone or the estrogen? From your temps, are you able to tell if your progestorone is low?

It's progesterone. Signs of low progesterone are brown pre-menstrual spotting and a short Luteal Phase (10 days or under is considered short). The thermal shift can also be weak when progesterone is low - but yours sure isn't at all! When are you testing?

I actually got a positive result already from a hcg bloodtest at 11dpo. I was just wondering if low progesterone can be detected by your chart.

Congratulations!

Why are you wondering about low progesterone? Generally, a pregnancy chart won't show it - but a woman will know she needs to concerned if her non-pregnant charts showed low progesterone type patterns (brown premenstrual spotting, short LP's). And sadly, a history of miscarriages is also a clue. Are you wondering because of either of those reasons?

You can always call your doctor and request to have your progesterone drawn, though in most cases they won't unless they have a reason to--ie--what Shawna said.

I'm taking progesterone supplements because of my history of low progesterone--a previous m/c and a short LP(7-10 days). I have to continue taking it until I am 12 weeks along.

Congrats, by the way!
