Do you Ovulate when your temp drops, or when your temp spikes?

When your temp drops, although not everyone has a temp drop. When your temp spikes is after O. Temp spikes are from Progesterone being released.

A spike in temperature indicates that ovulation has just occurred

Not all women experience a temp drop the day of ovulation. When your temp spikes, that means that you ovulated the previous day, which is too late to catch the eggie, which is why I always suggest using opks in conjunction to temping when ttc.
