I just don't know what to do about fertility friend, this morning when I entered my temp it moved my O date for the 5th time, it keeps going back and forth between CD19 and CD21, I am worried because we stoped BDing once I thought I Oed, cause we were tired. Now I am afraid that I might not get a BFP this month and it's all because fertility friend keeps yanking me around grr
My question is for those of you who use fertiltiy friend, do you recomend purchasing the VIP membership? Or is the free version good enough?

Also, if you have time could you STALK my chart and tell me what you think? I have no clue what's going on with my chart at the moment

I POAS this morning and got a

I may just forget charting and use my ferning scope, cm, cp, and the new opk's that I ordered

Thanks in advance

Fertility Friend is notorious for false interpretations, but to cut down on that just switch your interpretation setting from Advanced to Fertility Awareness. You don't need the VIP membership to do that. And the if you're considering purchasing the VIP membership, your money would be better spent buying Ovusoft - it's a far more comprehensive charting software with fewer false interpretations. The VIP membership will get you more "extras" but won't change the way your chart is interpreted at all.

For what it's worthy, I think CD21 is your day. When temps and mucus don't agree, mucus ALWAYS trumps temps. Ovulation occurs closest to the LAST day of slippery mucus (either on that day, the day after, or up to two days after).

Hmmmmm tough chart. luckily you do have cm and ferning to go by because with just viewing your temps I'd say you hadn't O'd yet. But by going by your cm and your ferning, I'd lean toward cd21. You don't have bd marked, but remember sperm can live up to 5 days in fertile cm which you appear to have plenty of. So there's always a chance. Is this your first cycle charting?

Rule of thumb to remember when TTC, if you are having fertile cm (slippery) keep bding, if you are using opk's bd 3more days after your +. And never use temping to predict ovulation, it's only good to show that you did Ovulate! And as you can see from your chart that even that is iffy! lol

Good Luck sweetie! PM me if you have any questions.

oh forgot to answer your question, no do not pay for FF. I use the free version as well.

If you are going to pay for anything, get TCOYF. FF changed my O date 3 times this cycle before it finally got it right. TCOYF gave me CH ONCE and they were right on. I agree with Shawna though, CD21 seems to be your day based on evertyhing but temps

Thanks for the advise ladies, and yes this is my first month charting so it's been pretty confusing, if I don't get my BFP this month, I will go into the next months cycle better prepared and hopefully get it everything right after this months trials and errors...lol

I will check out the other charting places to see what they are all about, as I said fertiltiy friend has been confusing me so thanks for the suggestions as well

And as for the BDing my hubby doesn't want me to publish it we were bding all through the green highlighted portion of my chart but we stopped the day after FF gave me a CH at CD19

I agree with Cheryl--trust your CM...and OPKs before you trust your temps.

Good luck to you...I know it's frustrating, and it's so easy to drive yourself insane around this time of the month. Hope you get a BFP soon!
