Good Morning Girls:
I'm kind of nervous here because my temps are doing what they were doing before I started this breakthrough bleeding I'm going through, my cycle was anavoulatory this month.
My temps go up one day, down the other, up one day, down the other...do any of ya'll know why it could be doing that???
Also, I've been reading a lot about Vitex, should I give that a try???

Ahhhh its all so frustrating! I just want to get my cycle regular and going before we start TTC in January. Please help!

Temps during AF are always screwy, but bouncing temps can be a sign that one hormone is too low or too high, I can't remember which one. Are you recently off of birth control pills? that can cause very screwy temps too.

My temps were always all over the place when I temped during AF. Your hormones are out of whack because of the drop in progesterone right when AF hits.

Keep temping, and hopefully they'll level out. Good luck!

Aren't you post-pill? When your body is trying to sort itself out after hormonal contraceptive use, it's REALLY important to not interfere with it with more drugs or herbals (like Vitex), etc. It needs some time because it's working really hard. Good nutrition and supplemental support are very important as well, since the Pill depletes a lot of woman's important nutrients (and nutrient deficiencies can definitely impact cycle regularity). Here are some of the supplemental recommendations which are encouraged during recovery from the Pill:
Folic acid
Vitamins B2, B6, B12
Vitamins E and C
Zinc
Magnesium
Essential fatty acids

But beyond nutrition, be patient! Introducing new things to your body, even natural herbals, can interfere with the recovery process.
