Hi girls...

I have no idea where to post this Q.. who would be able to answer this Q best...

so ill ask yall .. and if you think i should ask it in another forum please let me know..

I had a m/c almost 3 weeks ago... I then had to have a d&c a couple fridays ago.. (a little over a week)

I finally stopped bleeding completely Sunday. (yesterday)

My DH and i want to TTC after ive had my first period.

So this month we are jsut planning on using the pull and pray method ...

My Q IS.... should i estimate my OD from my m/c date... or my d&c date??? or from the day i stopped bleeding.. yesterday... or am i not gonna be able to tell at all because of the situation??? and whatever the date what would you estimate?? 3 weeks after?? 2 weeks?? Ive never had a m/c before.. and ive never charted... i have no idea..

all i know is i was a regular 28 day cycle person before this happened...

First of all, I'm so sorry about your loss!

To answer your question, you can't estimate or predict when ovulation will occur, you can only monitor your signs of fertility so you know exactly when your body is trying to ovulate. Your hormones may be a little out of whack from the m/c and that's normal. What you can do though is track your cervical mucus, as this will give you several days advance warning that ovulation is approaching. Anytime you have mucus present, it's a sign of rising estrogen levels because your body may attempt ovulation. When mucus is present you are potentially fertile.

I would wait until you've had that first period, then if you use OPKs, that would be a good time to start.

You should wait til after you have atleast 1 regular cycle before you ttc again. I had a m/c about 10months ago, and I recall I didn't even get my 1st real AF until like 8weeks after.
