I finally started to chart this past AF. Is the Ov on the chart usually pretty accurate? Or should we DTD for the next two weeks? I know last month I had Cm, is that when we should do it the most?

I'm totally not an expert on this... but the charting really only helps me know that I DID O... it doesn't prepare to to BD at the right time.

I tend to go off CM for that stuff. If I had a normal cycle, I'd also go off of timing. ie., if I had a normal 28 day cycle and 14 day leutal phase, I'd know to BD a lot before up up to the 14th.

But, my cycles are whacky and my dr. agrees that I have less of a chance to get pg. with less cycles and no knowledge on when to BD since it's not predictable. So, my charts haven't helped on on knowing when I'm feritle.

HTH.

Try not to use old cycles to predict when ovulation will occur this time, because every cycle is different. By observing your CM you can track your fertility day by day AS IT HAPPENS, no assumptions or predictions. The CM will begin several days prior to ovulation, so that gives plenty of notice that you are fertile. When you notice that you feel wet and slippery, you are the most fertile and should make sure to BD!
