How Has NFP Worked For You?

I'm wondering how you like NFP, hubby and I started using this method about 2 months ago [we're avoiding] but have only used it from CD 21 and up just to be sure there are no oopss, this month we had unprotected sex on CD 6, I'm not exactly sure when I O but it's some where around CD 14-17 so I know I can't get pregnant, but since 'm on CD 9 I'm wondering if it's still safe to have unprotected sex or do you think the chances would be too high?

If you are having "fertile" CM(which in the first few months of charting/NFP is ANY CM), then you want to avoid having unprotected sex. Sperm can live up to 5 days too, if the environment is right, so be very careful.

Most of this board is TTC geared, you might want to ask on the NFP board too for advice!
