Well dh and I dtd last night. I asked him to get a condom but he didn't. I should have been more persistent but I thought he would pull out. I really do know that that is not a reliable form of birth control but I guess I wasn't that worried about it at the time. I thought if he pulled out that would be good enough for this month. Well he didn't. As soon as I realized it I started crying. I think I made him feel terrible but I was really upset. Now I am just going to try not to worry about it and hope my doctors don't slap me with a wet noodle if I end up pregnant.

I think they may want to do another hcg level check this week and now I am concerned about what if there is hcg in my system. I don't want them to think it is from my last pregnancy and want me to take methotrexate or something.

Maybe I won't ovulate for a while. I haven't had any o pains and my temps are still low.

I am sure it will all work out sweetie. Your body is still recovering from surgery so it's pretty likely that O will be delayed a bit.

I'm sure your doctor won't hit you with a wet noodle...it's happened at my office plenty of times before...and we get over it.

I know it's stressful though. I remember right after my m/c I was terrified...didn't want to mess anything up. I know for the most part though(although your case might be different because of your surgery), most dr's want you to wait so they can date a pregnancy. Plus, if you're still being followed with HCg levels, it can be tough.

I think though, if you just DTD, if you got pregnant, you wouldn't be secreting any HCg from that yet. So I wouldn't worry about it messing up your test.
