I have been checking my cervix (I know you aren't supposed to do this but I check my cervix a few times a day). Well for the last few days it has been low, closed and firm. I have already ovulated (or at least I think I have) but tonight I checked it and it was very high and a little softer and more open. It was so high I could barely reach it. I haven't had a really high cervix position all month and I would think I was just now ovulating based on how high it is. I am so confused now. Do you think I might not have ovulated yet? My cm has totally dried up and I am not having o pains any more. Do you think I am over analyzing my cp? I am upset because I already started taking my prometrium. I am pretty sure I have ovulated already.

Dh and I bd'd earlier so I am wondering if that might be why my cervix feels a little softer. I think I am just going to make myself (and probably everyone else) crazy this month.

Hey Patty I cant say for sure but I have read that your supposed to pick one time during the day to check it since it can change throughout the day...Also if you havnt gone to the bathroom (By this I mean had a BM) it can push on your cervix and make it seem
higher than it is with a empty bowel. *shrug* I cant say why it seems softer but since you overroad your chart its hard to say
wether you may have O-ed or not...anything is possible. your temps make me wonder though. it does seem like you already O-ed.
Could just be a fluke since you dont have the cm.

I didn't override it on purpose. FF had it marked. I was messing around with the settings and it changed it. I was asking earlier on Am I Pregnant what the blue lines meant. I guess that means I overwrote it? I will go see if I can figure out how to fix that.

okay I fixed it but this is what TCOYF says about my chart.

FERTILITY ANALYSIS: You are in the post-ovulatory infertile phase of your cycle. A standard thermal shift has occurred. It has been accompanied by a complete cervical fluid dry-up. TCOYF estimates that ovulation occurred on Sunday, December 02, 2007. This was estimated using temperature and cervical fluid dry-up signs.

So I really think I o'd. Also my temps looks similar to my last bfp chart to me. It was pretty stinky looking too.

I agree I think you already O-ed due to your temps and cm. Like I said above the cervix can shift throughout the day and
BM's can change it as well so I bet thats what happened:-) Glad you already O-ed.

I am being cautiously optimistic. My charts never look pretty like some girls do.

I agree with TCOYF. There are sooo many factors that can affect your CP too

Well I changed my chart back. I usually use my morning cp for my chart. And when I checked it this morning it was low again and closed. Still a little less firm but I am going to stop making myself crazy.

I had a really hard time relying on CP when we were TTC. I honestly felt like I couldn't trust it! One minute it would be open and soft, the next, hard and closed! I just stuck with CM and OPKs....then again, that's probably one reason why it took us so long!

Good luck Patty!!!!

Well I am not going to pay as much attention to it either. My cp almost always feels a little open and I know it was partially open even when I was pregnant with Lyndsey.

My cervix has been super high the last two days so I am hoping this is a good thing and not a bad thing.
