Can taking progesterone supplements raise your temps artificially? My chart looks triphasic. I dunno whether than means anything or not... The rise started yesterday before I started the progesterone. This morning I got up to pee 2 1/2 hours before I temped also.

WDYT? Should I still take it to be a really good sign?

Yes, progesterone supplements can make your temp go up. Progesterone is what makes your temp "go up" in the first place.

Just a question, did you doctor tell you to wait until towards the end of your LP to start taking them? I usually started 3-4 days after confirming ovulation to take them.

Either way, good luck!!!!

I can't tell a huge difference between my charts with the prometrium and without.

Sarah my doc didn't start telling me to take them at 3dpo until I asked him directly about it. I had been given it in the past as soon as I found out I was pregnant. But I remembered when I was ttc Jeremy they wanted me to take it a few days after I ovulated.

My dr told me to wait until 5 dpo. Actually at first she said to wait until I got a positive hpt, and I asked her could I take them sooner and she said yes. That was when she said 5 dpo. I ended up starting them even later than that this cycle.

I may decide later not to take them until I get a positive hpt, because I tend to get moody and tired from the progesterone.
