Does anybody else besides me not get a second line on opks after ovulation has already occured...or even in the days in the way beginning before the LH surge?
I got no second line after ovulation ever, now I am getting a line...please share if you've experienced this...
Yes, you should almost always have a slight line there because LH is almost always in your body. I have gotten a barely there line after O before where it almost looks stark white.
you get surges of LH at all different times in your cycle, but the BIGGEST and most detectable surge is when ovulation occurs. You will get lines occasionally and can get a positive OPK and not actually O, but usually you only get a positive when you actually O. That's why it is important to use more than one way of detecting O(temping, checking CM and CP, and OPK's are all ways)
this happened to me a lot too. i stopped using them under docs orders as was told because of my mirena coming out they would be unlikely to detect properly and also they are not as good as they seem. right enough, remove opk results from ff and i got my cross hairs!
unless your line is same as or darker than control line it is still neg.
best of luck
