My chart is frustrating me. It has my O day at CD12 b/c of the temp shift, but I still got EWCM after that. In fact, on CD15 I had copious, insane amounts of EWCM but there was no temp shift after that to suggest CD15 was my real O date. The other thing is that I had a new battery in my thermometer as of CD13 but I don't think it would cause a shift like that, especially b/c my temp is usually around 97.7 after O. So, what do you think?

hmm..the new battery could do it, if the old one was dying, but it's going to be a few more days before it's really obvious I think.

I'd say wait a few more days and we'll look at it again. I would think that since you had EWCM later, that you didn't O on the 12th, but a few days later.

Thanks for your responses, I will try and be patient and wait. I really hope I ovulated on CD15 because the meds my DH takes in order to reverse his retrograde ejaculation really worked well that night.

That's awesome that the medication is working so well! If you don't mind me asking, which one is he on?

My DH suffers from ED(erectile dysfunction)...and he had several different medications while we were TTCing--and for the most part, they worked about 50% of the time.

Good luck to you!

He took Sudafed decongestant. Anything with Pseudoephedrine works for retrograde ejaculation by strengthening the nerve response of the sphincter that holds the opening to the bladder shut so the semen comes out like it should instead of going into the bladder. We tried using it before years ago and it didn't work that well but now for some reason his condition is improving itself so that combined with the Sudafed gives in his estimate around a 50% normal output to nearly 100%. We are hoping this will work so we don't have to do artificial insemination, our first RE at is in March.

Maybe that second day of EWCM was me releasing a second egg? I am frustrated because now I have obviously creamy cm which I usually get after O but my temps make it look like I Oed earlier. I guess it doesn't help that I wake up a dozen times a night because I am too hot or the cat is purring too loud or whatever.

Well my charting software changed my O date! It has this thing called "rule of thumb" that eliminates false highs (I don't know how it works) and it was turned off. When I turned it on it took away it raised my coverline and changed my O date. As long as tomorrows temp is up, it will give me Sun as my new O date, the day after I got all that EWCM. I think this is much more accurate, especially since today marks my three days of dryup after O (I count creamy cm as dryup b/c I get a lot of it after O). So I am more likely 2 DPO. I think this increases our chances this cycle so I am excited!

Oh yeah, and I also took away the disturbance for the temp I got the morning my thermometer was so cold, but even if I remove it all together my software gives me the same coverline change and new O date.
