So I have heard about how sex a couple of days before ovulation gives a good chance of pregnancy, but what about the day of ovulation, say around 8 hours after actual ovulation?

I don't know. I'll let you know in a couple days. We had an oops on O day so now I'm waiting. I'm 12dpo (usual LP is 10 days) and still getting BFN's. GL to you!

It's very possible. It all just depends on timing, because of when sperm needs to meet egg, etc.

I agree. I *think* an egg is good for 12-24 hours after release before it gets absorbed into the body. I hope you caught the eggie, and I'm looking foward to hearing about a BFP in 2 weeks!

The egg lasts up to 12hours after it is released..so bd'ing on the day of ovulation gives you a high chance of conceiving.
