Heya, I do not have a BBT (I have to buy one soon) but I have a regular one. Will that work for now?

it can, but a BBT is best. my emergency thermometer is a regular one until I can order a new one in from the states.

I used a regular one in the beginning as well until I could find a BBT. The BBTs really are much much better to use, but hey--go with what you've got!

Huh...I didn't even know you could use a regular one. I just got one...I'll start temp charting if AF will ever show!

Does anyone know if they sell any with a lighted LCD display? I tried to use mine this morning for practice, but it is dark when I am sleeping...so it was hard to tell what my temp was. Seems it would work much better if the display was backlit.

I've been wondering the same thing. I've taken to keeping a little flashlight on my night table so I can check without disturbing my husband.

I dunno...I just let the memory keep my temp for me, and take the therm with to the computer once I get up. But then my husband is already awake 5 days a week when I get up.

Mine doesn't have a light on it...on the days I would obsess about my temp, but not be ready to get out of bed, I would open up my cell phone to look at the temp.
