okay so my DH bought me a Clearblue fertility monitor.. i started when AF was suppose to start.. well actually it is 2 days later than my period.. so today i tested.. and it said low fertility.. i know it charts when you O.. with LH surges.. but IF i were pregnant.. no af for 8 days now... wouldnt it say i were fertile? i am so confused... and discouraged... also what is your CP suppose to be like in early pregnancy?

No, you're only fertile the few days around ovulation. If you did, in fact, conceive, it wouldn't show as fertile if your AF is 8 days late. I think, but I'm not entirely sure, that in early pregnancy, your cervix is high and closed. If you're late and still getting a BFN, then your O date may be off. People who know more will better be able to help you than I am. I *know* it's hard not to be discouraged, but I hope you get the answer you want!! Good luck!

i guesi can keep monitoring to see if i ovulate this month.. if not.. then ia m pregnant or.. i am not Oing at all.. so i will go to the doctor

Do you do any charting? I highly suggest going to fertilityfriend.com and taking their online charting course. You can use it with your fertility monitor & it should probably help tons!

so i took an OPK tonight.. and there was a faint line.. in the test.. lighter than the control.. but that is better than no line correct? is there any chance i could be pregnant?

Jacalyn is right. You are only fertile the few days around O. if AF is 8 days late, then I would use an HPT and test for sure. You can't use the fertility monitor until AF starts, because it goes off the beginning of your cycle.
I reallly suggest reading "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" By Toni Weschler, it explains everything very well. Fertility Friend.com also has a decent charting course on there.

I just wanted to add, you shouldn't start using the monitor until you actually start your period--the monitor "learns" your body each month. Especially if you are pregnant, it won't be able to detect it. If you add extra days to your cycle this month because you started before your period came, then the monitor will think that your cycles really are that long. Does that make any sense?

For what it's worth--I loved using the monitor. It was a great "backup" to charting and using OPKs.

i just now saw your post.. well i have continued to use my fertility monitor.. and i got a peak feritlity.. so this evening i tested with an OPK and it was postiive!!! i have heard some women do O even though AF does nto come.. that is why i continued to chart.. a friend of mine is now 8 weeks pregnant and she hasnt had her period for 8 months now!.. it is possible
