I already posted the long story on the Am I pregnant board, but I wanted to pop over here too. I was diagnosed with PCOS today. I just now thought about it & was wondering if there is still any point in charting? I already know my temps are all over the place and that I'm not ovulating. What about if I go on the pill? I can either go on Metformin or birth control. I'm not sure yet. What would you guys do?
welcome to the club Jacalyn! I'm not too surprised.
There are benefits and negatives to both options. I would personally go for the met becuase we are TTC and don't want to prevent, but if you guys aren't planning on TTC in the near future BC might be the best option for you.
And yes, you can still chart...but it's not happy, lol. I chart just to see if I do O
Sorry about the news...but at least you got some answers! Honestly, it really depends on if you're TTC or not. If you are, metformin is the way to go...if not, BC. Good luck to you hon.
