hey guys we aren't TTC yet, I have read TCOYF, and this is my first cycle charting.

I typically try to temp at the same time every morning, I have 25-26 day cycles and they are almost always on time. No real fluxuations. Just wondering if someone could take a peak and see if I needed to change anything. I do have a BBT. My husband also is the one that stick the thermom in my mouth so i dont have to move, but I do find not moving or making any noise incredibly hard

I'm on day 12 and havent seen a big rise yet which is a litle worrying for me. I am a 25 day cycler which means if I dont ovulate soon, I have a short LP... under 12 days, which would of course require intervention.

Would any suggest drinking Red Raspberry Leaf or taking Vitex to lengthen my cycle if its too short?

I think you might be jumping the gun with speculations about how long your LP will be, etc. It could just be a weird cycle - everyone has those from time to time! I would suggest just waiting it out to see if there actually is a problem before worrying. One cycle also isn't enough to diagnose a Luteal Phase Deficiency, you need to see it happening consistently over the course of several cycles. Also, have you recently discontinued a hormonal contraceptive? Because if you have, what was "normal" for you while taking synthetic hormones may not be "normal" for you now that your body has to figure out what to do on it's own again. If that's that case, it's too soon to worry about correcting cycle irregularities - you need to give your body time to sort itself out.

As for temping, don't worry about moving or talking a little. Some women can get up and go to the bathroom first and it doesn't affect their temperatures. The movement which can affect you temps is anything which can start to raise your body temperature, like - don't jump out of bed and start doing jumping jacks before you take your temp. That's all.

Your chart looks just fine, hang in there!

Nope no BC for me. I havent been on Birth Control for about 7 years and even then only took it about 3 months.

I knew enough from reading that I shouldnt get worried with only one cycle, but man when its your own chart its hard not to panic a bit! I am having normal CM though so thats been a good sign

I agree--it takes several months of "abnormal" temps and LP's to really see and detect a pattern. I find that when you actually start watching your temps and days of your cycle, that will be the one month that it's not "normal" for you! That's what always happened with me!

I think it's awesome that you guys are going to Hawaii for a babymoon! Yay! Hopefully you'll have some good luck while you're there!!

Oh, and by the way! Glad you have you here!

This is what I do... temp in the bathroom and I've not had any trouble with it.

I was surprised when I started temping that I O so late in my cycle - more often than not it's CD17. It could just be that you are more aware of the happenings of your body and it's kinda made your cycle a little funked. KWIM?

I'd give it another 2 ish cycles and see how it goes then.

Temps FINALLY went up today. So... that means I ovulated yesterday or the day before?
