First time I chart! Please review and tell me what you think. I had a chemical pregnancy last month, got BFP on CD 27 but then started bleeding CD 30. Been TTC for 11 months, had 2 miscarriages last year, one after 5 weeks and once after 8 weeks. I turned 40 last month and I'm not taking any medication. Thanks in advance !!!!!!

Helps to mention that I have 28/29-day cycle.

Thanks so much mikeandjoeysmom.

Today is CD 29 and 15 DPO, I took FRER test and line seems more faint (barely there) than the one I took 2 days ago, I'm feeling so sad right now and I hate to have another chemical pregnancy. I'm going to call my Dr. tomorrow and request an apointment to see what he says, not sure when I can see him though. They might send me for blood work tomorrow. Even though he's excellent, but knowing him, he would say it's normal...

Temperature seems ok still... oh well</span>

Thanks sarah and kaitie.

Sarah, sorry to hear you had 2 chemical pregnancy in a row! I'm not sure how I feel about it happening to me too... confusing maybe? Why does this happen? is it the quality of the egg? I read many analysis about it and I still wasn't convinced, even when drs. rule out all reasons, it still happens in a mysterious way... After my second miscarriage (D&C), it turned out to be chromosomal defect, trisomy 16. Also, dr. requested full realm of blood work (they took 18 vials of blood!!!) and yet, he found NOTHING, everything came back "normal".

How would your doctor know you had chemical, were you doing any blood tests? I hope you'll hear good things from your dr. tomorrow! Please post any updates. As for me, I'm not sure when I'll be able to see him.

Good luck.

with the last ones i had blood done and numbers were there but not high (the last one was at 14 if i remember correctly)
it apparently can just be your body not implnating an egg that has problems wether it be an egg that is not "quite right" or has been fertilised by sperm with problems. its heartbreaking no matter why or when it happens because in my heart that was still my baby. i had to call the doctor out last night as i started bleeding heavily and passed out. he took some bloods and gave me tablets to help calm the bleeding as well as iron tablets and i have to call this morning to get results of the bloods.
will update when i know anything.
x
ETA i just got a call saying my levels were 12 so another chemical for me. have to go in tomorrow to find out the results of my scan last week and discuss what happens next

Sarah - So sorry to hear what you went through last night! I sure hope you're feeling better today.

I talked to my Dr. over the phone today (of course they wouldn't even give me an apointment) and he recommended that DH does the karyotype test (genetic). He'll go to give blood tomorrow and we'll wait and see.

We also discussed the test results I had done back in Oct., and said that they all came back normal except just one of too genes that cause blood clotting, then he said that should not be the reason. He mentioned that if both genes were abnormal then I would need to take blood thinners, but since one is fine, there's no need. Also, temperature was still 98.4 this morning and AF hasn't arrived yet!!!
