I think that this month is a dud! Does anyone see any hope in this?

Maybe there is something wrong with my thermometer, I'm not temping correctly, or maybe I'm having an anovulatory cycle. Assuming the first two things are ok, would you think I am not ovulating this "month".

History - I hadn't had a period since before I got pregnant with my 16 month old daughter. I had AF ever 28 days because of b/c pills, but after I went off of those I had a 47-day cycle and then got pregnant on a 44-day cycle. I was not charting at that time. This is my first month.

I finally went to the doctor because we want to conceive #2. I was put on Progesterone (Prometirum). I was told that I would take it for 10 days and then most likely have AF 3 or so days later. I ended up having a VERY light AF day 7-9 of taking the pills and that was all.

I had no EWCM around day 14 and it is now day 36 and no AF...so I'm certainly not on a 28-day cycle. Around day 30 and 33, I had EWCM (which would be consistent with a 44-47 day cycle), but my temps have not sustained and OPKs (when I took them) did not support. Perhaps it was the time of day??

Anyway...any thoughts?

At this point, although I want a BFP, I'm at least hoping for AF by day 47 so I don't have to take Prometrium again.

I appreciate anyone's more experienced insight.

So far it does appear that you have not ovulated. Sorry!


I do feel your pain though, my last cycles were both upwards of 50 days and this current one will be too, most likely. Good luck with everything, hope to see you around some more while you are TTC!

I'm sorry that you're having a rough go of it...it's so frustrating to see people who are so eager to TTC and have a baby, and then have so many different issues.
