I know this is probably a stupid question, but I've never done it before. Do you have to have a special thermometer to temp vaginally or does just the same thermometer I've used in the past work? (Of course I would get a new one if I switched back to oral again! ) I just bought this one though, and am hoping I don't need to go buy yet another thermometer. DH says I have more than the local hospital does by now anyway! lol
Yup, you can use the same thermometer. Just make sure to either use the covers or keep it clean, of course.

Great! Thanks for the info. I figured that was the case, but didn't want to screw up. I guess I'll go ahead and get my chart switched over (delete the few temps I have so far this cycle, because it's looking like AF has left the building in which case I'll start temping vaginally tomorrow or the next day. The main reason I'm switching is because DH sleeps with a fan on, and I've had a stuffy nose all winter, so I was breathing through my mouth a lot and I think (or at least hope) that's part of the reason my chart was so up and down last cycle. Guess we'll see if it makes any difference.
