Can antibiotics affect your O day? I've been taking then for 8 days now for bronchitis. But I am past my usual O time but 2-3 days.

I am not sure if they affect your O day but the do affect your temp by keeping it lower. So i don't know if you would think your Oing because your off antibiotics or if its a true delay of Oing. Sorry that doesn't answer you.

The antibiotics won't delay ovulation, but the illness/infection that they are being used for can! Any illness/infection is a physical stress and that can delay ovulation.

Also worth making a note of, penicillin based antibiotics can have a significant mucus-enhancing effect. You might notice much more mucus than you normally observe if the antibiotic contains penicillin.

Like you know I am a newbie, but I have read that the illness/infection will affect the ovulation more than the medicine.

In the past, I had many a cycle that was thrown off from me getting sick. It stunk! Hope you get better soon, and your chart gets back to "normal"!
