Okay...I'm trying to decide whether or not to mark this as AF or spotting.

Day one-light spotting, BARELY reaching underwear
Day two-3 hrs of HEAVY bleeding, other than that very light spotting
Day three-light spotting
Day four-more light spotting, only lasting a few hours

It's day two that really confuses me, and of course the fact that I rarely have midcycle spotting. Last fall when I was having anovulatory "cycles" my breakthrough bleeding was similar but a bit heavier. What do you think? Change it to spotting and just keep it as one long cycle? or mark as AF?

I would keep it as one long cycle, *just in case* this breakthrough bleed precedes ovulation. *If* that happens and you started a new cycle, you'll lose all the temps from before the bleeding and might miss the thermal shift *if* it happens.

Then after awhile, if this doesn't result in ovulation - you can always go back and call this bleeding CD1 just to tidy things up, so you don't have a chart that's 10 miles long.

Sounds similar to the anovulatory bleeding I had last year after 5 annov months. I ended up having a normal cycle after that, so I would mark it as CD1.

Alright...for now I am going to leave it as CD1 of FF and change it on TCOYF, lol.
