Has anyone had any experience with changes in CM and cold medicines? I thought I had read somewhere that they can dry up CM. I came down with a cold a few days ago and took some Aleve Sinus last night so I could sleep. I realized this morning that I may have just dried up my CM I'm not quite at my peak fertile time, but the past few days my cervix seems to be getting higher, so I'll be approaching it soon, I'm guessing. I know I haven't ruined my chances yet, my CM was still creamy yesterday, but I don't want to take anymore if it's going to dry me up.

Yes, anythig that is supposed to dry up sinuses will dry up all mucous.

Awww, crap! So now I have to make a decision. DH is leaving Saturday morning for a job conference and won't be back until Tuesday, and I can't figure out if I want to go. It's likely I'll ovulate on one of those days, but I can't tell without knowing where my CM is. Do you think it will be back tomorrow? If I'm still not getting fertile CM tomorrow, I might have a good chance of catching the eggy when DH gets home. I don't want to go with him, only because we are all sick and DD sleeps horribly in her pack'n'play as it is. I hate to go and we never get the chance to BD!

I don't know. Being sick can delay ovulation also. Good luck!
