just stopped the pill

Hi all, I stopped taking the pill 15 days ago, after 4 days i got withdrawal bleeding for a few days and have been using ovulation prediction strips ever since and have no sign of ovulation yet. I am not sure when my period is due because i dont know at what stage of my cycle i am at because it wasn't a true period after coming off the pill. Anyone else been in this situation and has any idea when ovulation might start? I have a 5 year old son, i got pregnant just 10 days after stopping the pill with him, perhapes it wont be so easy this time

I stopped the pill about a month ago and i was somewhat in the same boat as you. I didnt know when i was ovulating, or when my cycle was going to start to track it. I even got the OPK's as well and still no positive. Try and wait for your first cycle. and track it from there! Ive read on different websites that girls have gotten pregnant right after the pill. But i tried this month 1st cycle and nothing. So good luck to you!

Thanks, had first true period on 16th july, i did get a +opk on 5th July and a couple not so positive ones, its hard to read them sometimes. We BD when we should of but it wasnt our time i suppose, quite dissappointing when AF came. I got pregnant so quickly last time (accidental) i thought it would be the same again. Still not sure about cycle lengths as i used to be exactlt 28 but this was 26. will have to see how it goes this month.

Hi everyone. Anyone use or have used Microgynon 30? I read a couple of stories online saying that it stays in your system for a long time after stopping. But also heard of some woman who fell pregs the next month. I've only been off it for 2 weeks now but we really want to conceive by December so worrying if it will happen??

Everyone is so different, but in my case, and my sister's as a matter of fact...we were both pregnant within weeks of going off the pill, not even a full cycle later. I was on a few different kinds over the course of 5 straight years, but I have heard that you should wait a few cycles just to be safe!
