I am ttc for the first time.

We've been married for 2 years (together for 7) and this month is the first try for us. Right now is CD 33. I have a longer cycle but it has been different every month. I've been tracking since Feb and it's been 38, 37, 35, and now I think based on my ovulation date around 33 or 34.

This month I used the OPK things and got a positive on Thursday July 3rd which worked out perfect for us because my husband has been gone since April in training and was coming home on the 3rd for the weekend. So I'm pretty sure we hit the ovulation date. I'm guessing my ovulation date was July 4th (CD 20) so my period should come around Sat July 19th.

I've had several symptoms, but mostly sore bbs and very noticeable blue veins on my bbs. I have been spotting several times over the last week though and more today so I'm thinking it's because my period is coming which sucks. I've been taking HPTs a lot and so far but I keep thinking I'm seeing a very very faint line but now I think everything is in my head which is driving me crazy

So hopefully it is this month but if not, I will try again next month since my husband will be home for good soon!!

Oy. Can I relate to the last paragraph! Those faint lines are tricky, huh? Best of luck, if not this month then in the next few!

Yep it didn't happen last month so we will try again this month.

I'm now on CD5 so I think I will start using the OPK around CD 13 or 14 since I have a longer cycle. I won't see my husband until CD 15 so hopefully I don't ovulate early
Last month my ovulation date was around CD 19.
