My Journey of TTC Baby #1

I have finally been bitten by the baby bug. I have searched all over the internet to find a website where I can post my feelings and get positive feedback from women who are going through the same thing as I am. Today I have read success stories and also stories of hope. I have hope...and I pray that it will turn out as a success!!!

So, I am 26 years old. My hubby and I got married on 9/14/07. We decided to wait a year to TTC...that year went by so fast!!! Now we are both ready to become parents.

I have irregular periods...I have had them for some time now. I was on the nuva ring to regulate it. Once I got off of that in September, i hadn't had a period for 2 months. I went to the Doc and he perscribed prometrium to regulate my period.

I took my first prometrium pill on December 2, 2008 and AF finally came on 12/08/08. AF left town on 12/18/2008 and DH and I have been BOONCHIN ever since! LOL...I have no idea of when I ovulate, so DH and I try to BOONCH every other day, (though it seems like its been everyday) until its time for AF to come back.


A couple of days ago, I felt a pain on the right side of my pelvis...I assume that could possibly mean I was ovulating. So...I got it on with DH that night...and the next night...and the next night! LOL You get it.

Then the other day, including today, I was spotting...the first day it was a light pinkish color and DH noticed it on him after we had "Intense fellowship". It went away for a few days and then it came back today and it is very dark. I have no idea if this is implantation bleeding or just my whacky cycle.

I will start back on the prometrium today which is supposed to bring AF back next week...I really hope that she will take a 9 month vacation.

I know this will happen on GOD's timing, so with each post...I will say I give him all of the GLORY in everything...Preggers or NOT.

I am so excited about this journal...I hope to look back at this and see how far I've come.

Today i bought a CVS brand Ovulation kit. Two lines came up however the testing line came up very light compared to the default line. I guess that means I didnt have a strong surge.

I havent started the prometrium yet...I need to call my doctor because I am not sure if I should take it 17 days after the last day of my period or to take it 17 days from the first day of my last period. I am so confused.

Well, AF came today. I still havent taken the prometrium yet. I am surprised that AF came on her own...I will consult with my doctor this week. I am so confused with this process. I pray that I can concieve naturally without any drugs...

My hubby is a little sad. Only because he knows I am sad. He thinks that its his fault because we havent BD in two days...But thats not the case...I just wish I knew when I ovulate. He wants to get checked out now...I guess I will have to get a SA for him sometime this month.

Today AF is exremely light...I would even say that it is only a spotting. I have no idea of what's going on. Yesterday when I "thought" AF came...it was just for a lack of a better word, a glob of blood. Now, im barely spotting. I can only see it when I wipe.
