Hi my name is Megan and I am 26 years old soon to be 27 on February 17th. My husband and I just got married this past November , and have been TTC since then. For the past 7 months I have only been ovulating every other month, and February is an ovulation month for me! My period is due the at the end of this month so I should be ovulating in the middle of the month. Just saw the OB/GYN yesterday for my annual PAP and he said that if I lose some weight I should start ovulating monthly and if I don't conceive after a year of TTC to come back for testing. I bought the ovulation test strips and pregnancy strips and hope that we conceive sometime this year. I would really like to give birth to our first child before the end of next year! Looking forward to reading other blogs, and making new friends along the way! I'll keep posting! Sending baby dust with hopes of receiving some myself!

I just checked out an ovulation calendar online and it says that my most fertile days are the 23-26, so I guess DH and I will be doing the BD on those days! I also have the ovulation strips to double check. I am still learning the lingo and how to determine the mucus and temp. Any advice would be much appreciated!

Hi, and welcome. I used OPK's and charting starting in dec. and got my BFP in January. I didn't have much mucus so we used preseed. Try to use Fertility Friend when you temp. they will tell you when you ovulate. It def. helped me! Good luck and relax!

Hopingfornumber1- Thank you for the friendly tips, I will def. try out Fertility Friend. Congrats on you BFP, how exciting! I can't wait till mine! You are right I just need to relax and go with the flow, I just get anxious since I only ovulate every other month so the thought of only having 6 chances to get preggers in one year seems daunting! But I believe that God knows what he's doing and he has a plan for us all! Hopefully he see's baby in our future! Good Luck on your pregnancy journey!
Today for some reason I felt a slight twinge on my left side. The ovulation calendar said that I won't "O" till later this month! I hope it is right because DH and I can not do the BD till later this week. Everything seems to be fine, my mucus is normal right now and my temp. is staying at 97.18, it fluctuates between 96.48-97.18. The ovulation test strip shows no surge yet, so DH and I are just playing the waiting game! Not one of my fav games to play but I will play it! I think the waiting is the hardest part, besides seeing the negative sign on the test. My husband is the last one of his family to not have any kids, and I am the oldest one in my family and none of us have any kids, so my parents would really like to be grandparents! Andrew's mother wants grandchild #20, she's crazy! LOL! Last year my father was diagnosed with Small Cell Lung Cancer, which happens to be inoperable but can be treatable. I really thought that he wouldn't make it to my wedding, but he did after 6 bouts of chemo treatments and numerous radiation treatments, he is truly a miracle because the doctors say he is cancer free, he has blown their minds! I really want to give him a grandchild, it's all he ever talks about! One of the reasons that I fell in love with my husband, was seeing him interact with his niece, and nephews. He is sooo great with them, and I can only imagine him to be even better with his own! Can't wait to BD days! I'll write soon! Thanks!

Today, I kinda feel funny. I feel kinda dizzy and nausea. I hope I am not coming down with the stomach bug everyone at my job has had . This morning I was really high energy and now I am completely exhausted! Tomorrow DH and I are going out with a couple friend for V-Day and then on Sat. I am making lasagna for my hubby and strawberry shortcake, I also got candles and warming liquid massage oil for later! It's our first V-Day married and I want to make it special! I really really hope I am not getting sick! I tryed out the fertility friend, and I love it, THX hopingfornumber1! I'll keep ya posted!

I have a question, for the past 4 days my CM has been watery. I was wondering if the "watery" stage is supposed to last that long? My temp. every other day fluctuates between 2 temps. 97.05 and 97.18 for the past 4 days every other day. Is this normal? I am very confused! LOL!

If that was the case that would be great! My temp. today was 96.80 again, my temp would be high if I was pregnant, right? How was your Valentines Day?

it depends on what your coverline temp is. mine was 97.1. The day I O'd it went to 97.0 then spiked up to 97.5, 97.8 then 98. It stayed above 98 for the next 10 days. but FF said I had O'd one day and then changed it after I had another drop. So who knows! My v-day was busy. Nothing special. I had a scare for a moment. I started bleeding, but everything seems to be calm now. I hope you had a wonderful v-day and hope you conceived!

Sorry it's been awhile! I've been busy! I hope everything is okay now! Our v-day was great! I haven't gone up to 98 yet, my temp has been 97.18 for the past 2 days. Nothing to really share, AF is still not here, thank goodness! But I am having tender breasts which can mean she is coming. We will see! Good Luck this week! Take it easy!

Found out why my temp. was high, I'm sick! I have a really bad cold with a slight fever. My BBT this morning was 99.90 and after getting up and showering my temp. went to 100.5. So that explains the rising temp while AF was in town!
