Hello! I waited for my period to come, I usually have a 38 day cycle. It did not come so my DR said to go ahead and start clomid days 3-7. I am on day 7 and have started bleeding today! What do I do? Should I just finish off tonight with my last dose and wait to see? My DR is out until next Wed. so no way to ask him. I have more clomid, should I take more days 3-7 (since day 1 is now offically here) Totally confused and very disappointed.

Hi There! I took Clomid this cycle as well. My advise would be to stop the clomid for now and re-start on day 3 like normal. That way it is in sync with the rest of your cycle. I took mine on days 5-9 of my cycle and I think I ovulated on days 14-15 or around there. I also think it's strange that the DR had you start the Clomid without your period. I was on birth control for years and when I stopped I didn't have a period for months. Now I take Prometrium at the end of my cycle to induce my period just so I can start the clomid. It is all very confusing and I completely understand. Don't give up hope and we are all here for you!
