Hi everybody,

I decided to start my own TTC journal today!

My DH and I have been married for 4 years…I just turned 29 and DH just turned 35. It’s already our 4th month TTC. At first I thought we would get pregnant right away…unfortunately it’s taking longer than I anticipated.

Also, ever since we’ve started to TTC I’ve been experiencing irregular cycles:
1st month: 30 days
2nd month: 24 days
3rd month: 32 days
4th month: I’m expecting it today which makes it a short 23 day cycle. These past 4 months seem like a yo-yo cycle…:

I’m expecting AF any minute today. I feel like I’m going to pop. This morning I checked my bbt and I was at 98.06 (which was approx .01 degrees below my coverline) and I’m about 12-13 dpo…weird thing is that I usually get my period in the morning and its almost 3PM and no AF yet. I almost want to push it out of me to get the next cycle going already….I can’t wait to be a mommy….really looking forward to it….hopefully my turn will come with lucky cycle #5!

I officially got my AF...weird feeling...as if I've turned a new page. Atleast it was a short cycle and I can look forward to this new cycle...everytime AF comes I go out and buy my Always pads...but I refuse to stock up...as if I'll jinx myself by buying enough to last me 3-4 months....I just want to buy enough for these next 4-5 days....and then not have to buy them for the next 9-10 months....Ahhh me and my superstitious mind...anyways...I'm sure I'm not the only one out there that thinks like that!

Later!

Thanks hopeful3853! I hope so too!

Little correction...AF showed up yesterday which makes my 4th cycle 25 days long instead of 23 days like I posted yesterday...

This past cycle (cycle #4) I recall having a lot of EWCM between cd8-11 but because the First Response OPK's were not showing a surge we didn't start bd'ing before cd12...

The month prior (cycle #3) I surged around cd18-20...so I definetly do not have a consistent ovulation pattern hence why I depend on the OPK's to show me the way...

Anyhow, I'm going back to the Conceive OPK's for this coming cycle and I'm going pay attention to my CM more than the OPK's...please send me lots of baby dust!!

Thanks a lot!! No I'm not using Fertility Friend. Do you think it could be helpful?

Anyone have any hints as to how to get DH in the mood when the time comes to BD in a week or so? My DH has a big fever since yesterday (39 degrees) and I'm scared it's going to drain him to the point where he won't be very motivated to BD starting in a week or so...

Thanks to all!!

My DH still has a big fever. I hope this won't interfere too much when we'll start to BD. I'm only on CD2 so there's really no need to panic but deep down in my subconscious mind the thought of it is lingering...

This morning we watched Marley & Me...so nice....you should all watch it...it's a good movie.

DH is fine! Yeah! The fever is gone...and the weather is getting warmer over here.

sunny, I agree Marley & Me was quite sad but yet there's somethign about the movie I really liked. It was a true depiction of a real family...no sugar coating...realsitic and truthful...I cried a lot though!!!!

It`s been awhile since my last post because I've been patiently waiting for the big O...

Last week my DH woke me up in the middle of the night for some BD (it was either Wednesday or Thursday night) but it wasn't really a fertile day...I had just finished my AF.

I don't know why but I haven't been going crazy this month with the temping and the OPK's. Yesterday I used an OPK for the 1st time this cycle. Today is CD14...yesterday the OPK showed a very slight surge and I also started seeing some CM (not EWCM yet)...I was quite dry previous to yesterday...

My DH also woke me up late last night for some BD...I'm telling you I love the feeling of doing it at night like that! Especially because I wasn't expecting it because DH was complaining of a headache all night...

I'm hoping we can BD the entire week since I'm quite certain I'll be O'ing in the next couple of days....it's so exciting yet very nerve-wracking...

Please keep your fingers crossed for us! I hope this is our month...I have a nice big spare room waiting for a baby...it`s big enough for twins actually!!

What a journey we are all going through. Glad I can share it with all of you!!

Later!

Thanks!

I'm feeling a little upside down today. We BD'ed on Tuesday night around 2AM...then on Wednesday night aroud 8PM I deteceted my LH surge but we didn't TTC that night. My DH found out his dad has prostate cancer. The cancer is not advanced nor aggressive. He needs to do radiology for 4-5 weeks (no need for an operation). This is why we did not BD on Wednesday...I didn't want to push him and he didn't initiate anything.

Thursday night (yesterday) I tried to get DH in the mood but he didn`t seem interested. I tried 2x, the 1st time was aroung 11PM and the 2nd time was around 2PM...both times were a flop...then I miraculously got him in the mood around 7AM...we were both exhausted...we BD'ed with me on top...not the best position...

NOw I'm at work and I'm stressing out because I'd like to BD again tonight but after the effort it took last night I'm worried tonight will not be any better...it's so weird...ever since we started TTC'ing the BD'ing seems to have gotten so complicated...

Has anyone experienced what I'm going through? And does anyone have ideas how to get DH in the mood?

THanks girls...

Thanks!

You know what's really weird?? I detected my surge on Friday night. On Saturday night I tested again and still had a surge (not as much as Friday night though...). What I find weird is that my BBT temperature has not yet spiked...I'm hoping it will go up tomorrow...orelse this means I may not have ovulated and I don't need this problem right now...

My DH and I BD'ed on Wednesday morning and Friday morning...ideally we should've BD'ed on Saturday but when we tried to my DH wasn't able to focus because he's really distraught about his dad being sick...we haven't BD'ed since Friday so hopefully tonight we can try again...

Has anyone experienced this already (LH surge followed by no temp. spike?)...

I'm feeling weird today. One minute I think I have preg. symptoms (twinges & tightening abdomen...slight nausea...) and then the next minute I think that this will not be the month for me.

Granted we did not BD much this past cycle (3-4 times I think). But all it takes is one time...

Sometimes I go to preseed.com and read the testimonials on their website. Some stories are real miracles...almost unbelievable...if these people conceived so can I...even if we didn't BD every day or every other day this cycle.

baby dust & fingers crossed to all!

No I haven't tried fertility friend yet...I guess I will look into it if this cycle is a flop. I still have lot's of hope though. It would be a great blessing for my DH and I. I would love to have a February 2010 baby or twins would be great too.

Good luck to you too. I wish us all a speedy journey to our BFP's!
