I guess I'll start a journal to pass the time.... As I said in my intro post on the main board, my name is Jessica and my dh & I have been actively trying for 3 months now.... Honestly, it's really discouraging. I know a lot of the women here have been trying much longer, but I just hate waiting. With our first baby, Mia, she was conceived in one night. I had just come off the pill, counted 14 days past my last period, and bam! Pregnant! I had symptoms almost immediately and had a great pregnancy. Fast forward almost 4 yrs.... We are having a difficult time I guess you could say. Every month I "feel" pregnang. I get tired, nauseous, irritable, and then, her comes my **** period.... It's driving me crazy!!!!!! It's really got me questioning whether I can handle this or not.... I think of all the things the "baby money" I've been saving could go to (new clothes for Mia, a great vacation next year, payoff debt, etc etc)....... but, then I see pictures of her when she was tiny (like the one in my siggy) and I just melt.... I soooooooo want another baby. Badly... but I just hate all this TTC crap.... Makes me feel inadequate and depressed when I know it didn't happen again.... So, I guess I'll use this as a place to vent..... or whatever... LOL

Okay, well, looking at other journals, it seems there is some more info I need to share... My husband and I have been married 5.5 years. We've been together since i was 14, he was 16. I'm now 27, he's 29. We have one daughter, Mia, as I've mentioned. She is the light of our lives. She is smart, adorable, and HILARIOUS. The kid can crack a joke like Seinfeld. Great timing... LOL! We have two nieces, one nephew, and another niece on the way. I guess that's it for now!

I'm on CD 8 today.

I forgot to do my OPK this morning! Oh well, I don't ovulate (usually) until CD 16 or 17. I'll just have to sit the box on my sink so I don't forget in the morning!

Your daughter is REALLY close in age to my son! He was born 05/26/2006, and we were able to get pregnant with him SO quick as well! And now I'm having trouble getting pregnant... okay, maybe I'm not having trouble getting pregnant, I'm only on cycle 2, but my last one was freakishly long (84 days). I'm hoping that was an accident. If it happens again I'll be seeing the doctor. Right now I'm on CD21 and haven't ovulated yet. I think it's coming though... all signs are pointing to YES. Anyway, we have similiar stories. I hope we can both get our BFPs this month!

My cycle was long last month too! Not that long, but way longer than usual. Hopefully we both bet our BFPs this month! Your son is a doll, by the way!

Oh thanks! You have a cutie pie on your hands as well! Are you charting temps? If so, I'd love to see your charts! How long was your long cycle? I am kind of wondering if I might have miscarried without knowing it and that screwed my cycles up. I was never paying attention to them before TTC this go around. I know I was having them every month, and I think they were around every 35 days, until the freaky one... haha. I'm hoping and praying it was a fluke and I'm normal. As I said, I'll be hitting the doctor if I have another freakish one! LOL!

My long cycle was like, 35 days. Not that long, but I'm always, always either 28 days or 30 days. One month I'll be 28, the next will be 30, then I'll be back to 28.. LOL! But I've never gone that long.
No, I don't chart. I've read about it, but it seemed like a lot of work. LOL! I just got the OPK and figured I'd use that. I can usually kind of tell when I ovulate anyways, but it's nice to have that stick confirm it for me!

Do you use the OPK sticks?

Charting isn't that bad, especially if you only temp. It's a once a day thing that takes like 30 seconds to 1 minute. Done. haha, and it helps to reconfirm what you see on your OPKs.

Good luck!

Yep, the sticks.... And I forgot again this morning!!!! I think I need to close the lid on the toilet and sit the box on it. Maybe then I'd remember!

Uggh.... Grocery shopping today. I hate hate hate grocery shopping! Oh well, I get to pick up my Robitussin, so that's a plus.... How I'm going to choke it down, I don't know, but I'll try.

Oh, I'm only on CD 11, so I've got a few days to go, but I'm terribly impatient!!! I swear, I get aggrivated waiting for the microwave to ding! LOL!

Boy, 24 days is a long wait!! How do you do it? This is why I have trouble losing weight. If I don't drop 5lbs the first day I figure it's not worth the trouble. LOL

We started our monthly BD marathon last night... I noticed some ewcm yesterday (I have it for probably a week during ovulation) and had some pains in my right ovary area... So I figured we should get started. I'm sure I won't actually ovulate for a few more days, and the OPK still hasn't detected a surge, but what the heck. Might as well let them start swimming early! LOL!

In other news, I'm dying over some Old Navy toddler boots... Ugh! Mia needs them!!! LOL! I bought her the most adorable red boots last year and they didn't fit very well, so I doubt I'll get these... But man! They are cute!!! This is why I need another girl! I love to dress them up!
