My husband used to do drugs, he has been clean for a few years now, but I still think it could be keeping us from getting pregnant.

I'm glad your DH is clean now. It is possible that he did some damage to his fertility when doing drugs, but men's fertility seems to be affected more often on the short term in comparison to women's. I think it takes like 3 months to make all new healthy sperm or something. So hopefully it isn't an issuse now.
