Hi everyone, I'm new here and looking for as much advice about getting preg after an IUD. Had it(Mirena) removed in beginnig of April, had period June 1st, but still no period in July. Could I be preg or is my body still trying to return to normal? I haven't had trouble getting preg in the past, with two pregnancies, my first being while I was on BCP. I consider my self sort of a (fertyle mertyl) . I also still nurse my 19 month old. Anyone please share your IUD experience.

I don't know much about IUD's but I imagine that they are similar to the pill and that it prevents period through hormone adjustment....coming off the pill, I have been able to get preg easy...though, only one time...I hope to try and get preg this month (I've been off the pill for a month now and just ended my period).............why don't you take a preg test? I had heard something about nursing preventing pregnancy.....something to do with your body creating a natural bc method......I could be wrong. Is ur period usually regukar? Ur bodyu might need to adjust...or, it could be back to normal for the most party..and just a lil late. How late are you?
