Had my IUD removed April 11th, had mc June 1st, but no mc yet in July. I took a hpt today and it was neg, but i didnt take it till after 12 pm and the line was so faint I could barely read it. Could I be preg or is it the IUD hormones still in my system? should I retest and when?what are some causes of delayed mc?

hello there! Welcome to journaling. I am Nayomi. I hope you get answers that you need about your IUD, cause I do not know anything about those. Sorry about your m/s. I had my 2nd m/c back on May 30th. It took me a regular period after the m/s to get all the hcg out.....Did your doctor say how long the birthcontrol lasted in your system from the IUD?

from what i understand because I had an iud...your able to try the next cycle because the hormones are gone, but since you had a miscarriage I don't know. It may take a while for your body to go back to normal. Sorry to hear about the miscarriage as well. Hope you get pregnant soon and it sticks!

I'm sorry for the mix up, I haven't had a miscarriage, no I just haven't had my menstrual cycle(aka MC). I'm so sorry for your lost angels Nayomi, best of luck to you too. Is constipation and sensitivity to smell signs of pregnancy, cause for the last week I've been smelling thing nobody else can. For instance, the other day I went to the dollar store and smelled shoe polish, and today I went to 7-11 and got hit with an alcohol smell. The clerk and the lady in front of me couldn't smell anything though. Oh well, best TTC luck to everyone.
