We have TTC since May of this year; however, due to my depo shot I really can't start counting our BDing as TRYING until January. That is when the full effects of the Depo wear off. (I believe that was my first and last shot - gives you no real control over your body.)

Anyways, I have been hardcore tracking and working to understand all the lingo and finally get it. I Oed on the 6th and we BDed that night. BUT I was talking to my sister (who is also a doctor - lucky me!) and I think we may have gotten the "soldiers" to thier "battle" too late and didn't have time to send "reinforcements". I felt O pain at 3.36am and we BDed at 11.30pm the following eveing. Now I know it has to be the day before, day of, and day after! That is a lot of DANCING!!!

This will be my first baby, but my husband's second. He has a 17 year old daughter who sadly is not an active part of our lives. But I am happy that I have someone who has been through all of this before.

We are really hoping for a boy! I say that and it sounds so selfish, but my husband is the last of his "line" so to speak.

If the "soldiers" didn't find the "castle" I guess we will be "attacking" again in December!
