I am on CD 32. AF was due today. I got a -hpt this morning, but also took on opk and it was +. What does this mean?! I'm going crazy! There's no way I'm about to O, because I did about 10 days ago...

OPK's are sometimes able to pick up HCG earlier than a HPT because HCG and LH are very similar in composition and OPK's are much more sensitive.

That being said however, if it's definitely showing a positive, (Test line just as dark or darker than the control) you should be seeing something on a HPT by now. It sounds more like your O was pushed back for some reason. Are you absolutely 100% sure that you O'd when you did?
