Hello Ladies!
This is my first post on Justmommies. It's a pleasure to find a site that is so well put together and simple to navigate. I am looking forward to interacting with all of you and sharing out journeys together. So on that note... I'm curious to know if anyone has had a similar situation. When I was pregnant with my second child I found out that her placenta was attached on top of scar tissue. This caused problems due to the lack of blood flow through the scar tissue. She ended up having to be taken at 32 weeks by c-section, but was the around the gestational size of a 26 week baby (She was only at 3% and had almost no blood flow to her brain). Anyhow after she was delivered the placenta would not detach by itself, so the doctor had to cut the placenta off of the uterine wall. I am assuming that now I have even more scar tissue than before. We also had an "accident" during my spinal block that had me on pain meds, therapy, and several steroid shots over the last three years. Now that all of this is behind us we started trying again. Unsuccessfully. I'm beginning to think that the scar tissue is preventing implantation. I've had a positive pregnancy test, and the next day started my cycle. Also, have had a very late period which was very heavy and clotted. I believe that was the same thing, I was just afraid to test. This may sound ridiculous, but is there anything that I can do to encourage implantation on the right side of my uterus?
