question about resizing in photo elements

i am trying to resize photo for a siggy lesson..i'm not able to tell that it's resizing so can someone tell me how it's done in photoshop elements please thanks

Are you resizing a photo which is the whole layer itself? Or a photo that is a layer on a siggy?
Which version of PSE do you have?

I am having an issue resizing also!



This is what I made, my first one, but it is too big in general... I am using PSE6.... can anyone help??

Ok - here is how I do it - I'm sure there are other ways:
Go up to the menu bar at the top and select Image>Resize>Image Size
Make sure all 3 boxes at the bottom are checked (Scale Styles, Constrain Proportions & Resample Image) and that the box next to Resample Image says "Bicubic"

Then you can change the sizes in any of the boxes above. If you change the height it will automatically change the width to keep the proportions the same. To resize the siggy you showed you 'll want to change the width down to 600 pixels or smaller.
